We sent our Visa application off a few days before the Christmas period so I had anticipated a delay. When I went online to check the progress of our visa application a day after the New Year public holiday I was surprised to see no record of the application. I emailed Vina to confirm they had received our passports. They responded very quickly letting me know they had already processed our application and that our passports would be in the mail today!
